A Persian proverb says one day a fox stole a rooster. When he was carrying the rooster in a bag, to somewhere he could eat it, a man saw him. He asked him, a rooster is lost, have you seen it? The fox said, “I swear to God I have nothing to do with that rooster”. Suddenly, the man saw the rooster’s tail out of the bag. The man asked the fox, “Should I accept the oath or the rooster’s tail?”
