I was just looking at a Persian website. My less than five minute surfing resulted into two documents:
- An interview with an Iranian Gay (see). I doubt Iranian Police cares for Gays this much! For example see this sentence:
Amir says, they come to my place and arrested my computer. They found male homoerotic (?) images there and showed them to my mum. Then my mother found out that I am a gay.
I have no problems with Gays, but it is a bit funny to blame Police for revealing your tiny secret.
Amir states that Basij is responsible for most of problems made for gays. Members of Basij are selected mostly from poor people and criminal.
As an Iranian, I am sure that Basij has more to do than making problems for gays! They have to be engaged in lots of political affairs and nasty little things done as ordinary people, or even students. I am also sure that there is no serious intention to hire criminals in Basij. The reason is clear, there are more than needed people to participate in Basij!
- An erotic story about I don’t know what! (see) Warning! it IS an erotic story!
Anyway, as they say, their website is concerned with demoatic news (see):
Daily News is ready to publish announcements and reports about demoatic institutions in and outside the country (means Iran).
