Quest of Persia
Kamangir | October 6, 2005 | Category Iran

Puya Art Software is I think a company based in Iran. They have produced the game “Quest of Persia (QoP)”. According to teir answer to my email, they are willing to publish their game in Canada and US in near future. The game covers the first days of the War between Iran and Iraq. Arashk (the hero of QoP) is an engineer in a company which is bombarded by Iraqis. That’s the way he engages in the war. After finding Leyla, an Archeologist (which wears scraf) they have to fight Iraqi soldiers.
Persepolis
Kamangir | October 6, 2005 | Category Iran

Read this passage about the two books Perespolis and Perspolis II by Marjane Satrapi (in Persian). The two books worth reading, although, I am not satisfied that they represent many Iranians. Let’s say, Persepolis talks about the affairs of Marjane and people in her class during the war and the revolution. Nevertheless, I could not sleep until I finished the books.
Justification for Interference in Iraq
Kamangir | October 6, 2005 | Category Iran
I was reading BBC. First compare these two phrases in BBC English and BBC Persian. Are BBC translators feared to transfer everything to Persian?
BBC English says: He said evidence led either to Iran or its Lebanese militant allies Hezbollah, although “we can’t be sure of this”.
He warned Iran that there could be “no justification” for interfering in Iraq.
Mr Blair was more diplomatic than the UK official who had first made the charge on Wednesday, but the allegation remained, the BBC’s Paul Reynolds says. Reed more here…

I was also so interested in the part of the article which is present in both translations:
He warned Iran that there could be “no justification” for interfering in Iraq. Though, in the Persian version, Iran is replaced with Iraq neighbours. The question is: Is this right specially reserved for UK and US? I can’t understand these guys.
Read this sentence :
It reads, Tony Blair expressed in his press conference that the west should urge that they would not allow insurgents to destroy the Iraqis’ dream of freedom.
The question is, how much will it cost for these poor hopeful Iraqis? They think we are kindergarten children!
Failure, Miserable Failure!

Just search for failure or miserable failure in google!

Kuma War
Kamangir | October 4, 2005 | Category Iran
I just found this website. I call it the interactive version of Hollywood. American guys seem to have their own fantasies! I was not able to find to where this company is related, but according to the information in the movies there, they have serious ties with retired personnel from American secret services. In KumaWar, every American dream that has just demolished (and its strangely many samples of them so that you start to ask have there been any success?) comes to the real world. So you capture Osama Bin Ladan, you seriously destroy insurgents in Iraq, and you infiltrate Iranian nuclear facilities.
