Speech and Money

Kamangir | November 22, 2005 | Category Iran

My late grandfather had a very quote of himself “speech is like the air”. By that, he meant do not give attention to what people say. He was using this advice in order to reduce tensions in our home, produced by “cold” words, as he liked to call unpleasant statements. My father was always opposed to him, he was much more idealistic to approve such a liberal attitude. I have clues that sometimes one word worthes lots of money. See here for an eighty-percent increase in GM’s stock after Kirk Kerkorian proposed to buy 5% of its shares. Also, just take a look at what Ahmadinejad did when he proposed to “wipe Israel off the map”.
