In this world you people can tell any thing but remember there is a aahira and those who make fun with islam you will have to answer Allah on that day..and remember do you like to be made fun of your religion whatever it is? likewise muslims are also like that. if you think of getting famous by this kind of low JOKES one can understand that persons state of mind...

ISLAM is the best religion in this world.
By making this kind of cartoon shows how coward & loosers are the
non-muslims ........that they are unable to spread their own religion & trying to stop people accepting islam.................which is not possible at all as islam is the best, easiet religion to be accepted.

Assalamu alaikum,

I think the cartoon is just great. It exactly what we - Muslims are trying to tell people. I want you all to just stop for a secon and think: this guy with guns he is praying in opposite direction on this picture. this reflects that he is doing exact opposite to Islam's teachings but still claim to be Muslims although they are not. The picture is simple and good spirited. I don't think it aims at real Muslims I think it defends us. I am a Muslimah myself alhamdulillah and I don't think we should be aggressive about this.
Jazakalkheir. Wassalam.

To the gentleman (or lady) who tries to be 'logical': I respect your views and feelings. I understand your concerns. But also I have some dobts about you being reliable: you are citing from a translation of the Scripture and you don't know the real meaning of those verses in Arabic, do you? Plus you took it out of context and I don't only mean historical and cultural but actually out of the con-text. The first verse that you cited is as we can see fifth verse of the ninth chapter. There are four verses before that and I recommend you read them all. Then maybe you will understand it. In fact I challenge you to read the Qur'an as a whole and at least one bibliography of Muhammad (pbuh). Try. I encourage you. If you need the Qur'an I can send it to you for free wherever you wish. After you have studied Islam well enough to have some original knowledge about it the I encourage you to have your original thoughts instead of copying after others. Try. I know it's more work but maybe then someone would listen to you, maybe then you could learn something and help the world in a constructive way. And I wish you all the best. Also if you need any help with getting materials or anything ask me I will do all what's in my power to help. Insha'Allah. All my best to you brother (in humanity).

One more thing. Some people say that Islam means 'peace'. No it doesn't. It means much more than that. I recommend you to visit website of Sheikh Yusuf Estes American Muslim convert. The website is whatisislam.com. It's very nice and simple introduction. I hope it will help you to understand some basics.

To the "Jamal" who commented on these cartoons.
Ur acting like the cartoons are serious but they're not. i dont think these types of cartoons are the types with "hidden meaning" and have stories behind.. if you know wot i mean..

People could take this to offence so its not nice.
Wot do you get from these anyway they are not exactly funny
1. muslims are NOT terrorists.
2. yes, many terrorist claim to do it all in the name of Allah.. but killing innocent people is totally against islam. A loving God would never give the power to anyone to kill innocent people. So if you see bearded arab men reading the Quran in some hidden location in the dessert think again.
3. If all muslims believed the same thing TERRORISM would happen everyday wouldn't it.

4. its not nice to mock someone elses religion so when you say: "you can make fun of my religion any time" obviously u dont have a religion so wot the hell are you tlkin about.
Sick minded people make fun of TERRORISM - its a serious thing, where thousands are killed, its not something we should make fun of.

By sharifa - yes, a MUSLIM girl.

“Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way.” (9:5) “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his Prophet and strive to make mischief in the land and is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world…” (5:33) The Koran, unambiguously agreeing with the actions of Islamic radicals, firmly shows that the true Islamic detractor is the peaceful Muslim.

Advocates of Islam attempt to refute this militancy by saying that we have taken these verses out of historical and cultural context and try to convince us of the purported “peaceful” teachings of the Koran. Like Karen Armstrong, a columnist for the Times, they inaccurately argue that since Muhammad lived in a violent culture, the so-called violence of the Koran merely shared in the common sentiments of the day. (Armstrong) Philosopher and thinker George Grant describes this apology as “fraught with false assumptions.” A peaceful commercial hub of North Africa, Mecca, at the time of Muhammad had not participated in wars for many years. Violence was finally spawned when he made clear his pitiless plan for purifying Mecca of the Kafir, the infidel. (Grant)

sister, i think we do have this reality as in terrorists prayin with us at the same mosque. I think what the artist tried to show out is that terrorists use islam as a title to kill others, yet its against it, as in the opposit possition taken by that gunman. I think muslims suffer terror more than any others, as 4 a blast drives 70 muslims dead, & injurs 1 nonmuslim.
