Â Who ever attacked the holy tombs in Iraq was quite aware that it could result in a civil war. The blast destroyed one of twenty most important places for Shia Muslims. However, the tomb had no meaning for Sunni Muslims, and they even blame Shias for “worshiping” people, not God. The attack was deliberately designed to take advantage of differences between Shias and Sunnies.

Let’s hope that religious leaders in Iraq take care of the situation and avoid a new crisis.
