Bloggers and Sharif Cemetary

Students seriously opposed the idea of burying martyrs’ corpses inside the university.

Members of Basij opened their way through the students, by beating them, and buried the body’s of three martyrs of the war in one of the best Iranian universities.

Iranian bloggers are seriously talking about burial of three martyrs’ corpses in Sharif University of Technology (see). First a blog called “sharif chaos” (see) gave a complete report of the whole event. The two anonymous students who manage the blog announced that they have no links to students’ groups inside Sharif and that the blog will be closed in the future. That blog only includes two posts. Then, a more serious blog called “22 Esfand” (that’s the day of the event in Persian calendar) began a more rigorous coverage by listing the posts about the event in graduates of Sharif’s blogs (see). The list includes many narrations of or discussions about the event and also some photos. Then, the other party started its movement. The people close to those who buried the corpses published their own blog with the same “22 Esfand” name in another service provider (see). That blog also has a news agency’s support (see).
I took the picture from here (see).
