Still they have another match with Angola.after that they will return home:((
Mahi and Winston,
Any way, the outcome is known; Iran is not going up. And Azadeh is not optimistic about the match with Angola, either.
Ah well. Life goes on and there is another chance for glory in four years time. Denmark didn’t even qualify this time…
Well played to Iran all the same. It was nice to see that at least in football we can be honourable opponents!
=(
Arash
IMHO Iran played better then Poland. The first polish match was disaster, the second was better but they still lost.
And I though at least either Poland or Iran will get further. Now I am afraid to cheer up for England (my 3rd choice).
Meh. We played well okay? To even QUALIFY in itself is an acheivement with a handicapped coach…
But seriously…we didn’t lose THAT badly. Cept portugal got a penalty for god knows what or we could have lost a respectable 1 nil. We could have even scored one if that player (who was it?) took his chance.
We got angola to beat! And i got a bet too!
Guess i’ll have to retreat to Argentina. I honestly approve of their attitude and playing, so they’re my favourites to win now.
Plus, if mexico beat portugal, Argentina get to beat the shit outta them!!
Iran was Awful, I guess Iran’s regime is not that sad about the loss, can you image Iran wining both games??…My God, people in iran could have turned the outburst to revoultion …. OHHH! let’s start a “Conspiracy” theory, don’t you think ahmadinejad has payed Ali Daie to not score!!!
Moif,
I will try to translate an article recently published in an Iranian newspaper which argues that the World Cup is a means of diverting people from the crimes west is committing.
=(
Ella,
Azadeh has selected Brazil. Though, I have a more practical idea. I will wait until the games end and then I will watch the games cheering up for the winner of the cup. :)
An iranian idiot,
You seem to know much more than me about the games. I will keep my hypocritical idea. :)
Anonymous,
Probably! :))
Anonymous,
you may be right! last time when iran won the qualifying game, the regime had to supress the joy that iranian people were feeling at that time. Anything is possible out of this regime, anything!
Please! Do you think they are that powerful?
