Greeting with Vases

Kamangir | June 26, 2006 | Category Iran

Pottery is one of the major handicrafts of Hamedan province (see). Basically, in a visit to Hamedan you would spend time looking at the vases and sculptures when you return from a long visit to the eleven-kilometer long Ali-Sadr cave (see). I doubt if Ahmadinejad could have spent couple of hours watching the fantastic cave but he sure visited the handicraft’s market. There, he was greeted by a set of vases holding the pictures of the cabinet members on them. A nice bribery meaning we need more attention.

Now that is one smart move - what works better than flattery?

Actually, I wouldn’t mind buying a set of those pots as an investment - I bet they’ll increase in value over the years!

    I bet they do.

Why do you always post pictures of this moron on your blog? Do you have a crush on him or something?

Finding the actual point of struggle in a conversation is a very rare chance. I think he is the actual flaw in the Iranian character; the part of us which likes a popular ordinary yet ego-centered leader. The part which can not tolerate pluralism and democracy. He is a part of me and I sure hate that part.
By the way, isn’t he very cute? Doing the most dumb things in the world?

No, I dont consider him a true Iranian. He is that of Arab-Islamist culture and heritage and I have nothing in common with this Islamic hitler but if you do, it is your own life and business. But just dont promote him as an iranian thingy

    Have fun

    Winston,
If you are talking about “true Iranians” I certainly would be out of the ring. Because, one of my ancestors came to Iran from Siberia, a few hundred years ago. So, I am not sure, should I remove the “an Iranian…” description form my blog?
