Victimizing the Children, Repeated Story

Kamangir | June 29, 2006 | Category Iran

Another religious event, obviously a mourning ceremony, and the children being cruelly pushed to get involved in it. I still don’t understand the justification for brain washing children to this extent.

We can’t help passing on our views and attitudes to our children - it’s inevitable. If you attended a demonstration you felt passionately about, you would probably take your children along. If you were forced to attend, you’d take your children to make sure they were protected. On the lighter side, there probably aren’t enough child-minders to go round anyway, if the demo is large enough. :) Just a thought.

Do you think it always applies? I certainly can find very simple counterexamples.
