Khatami visited the Iranian historical pieces in Oriental Museum, University of Chicago. I love my country and its cultural heritage, but, at the same time, I think the Persian lion would be much safer in “their” museums.

Last visit, 12 August 2007.

    Sorry to disappoint you or the photographer. the first photo is NOT from Persepolis and is essentially NOT Iranian/persian. It’s an Assyrian work of art from Babylon or some other Assyrian historic site.
