I think it is a pity for God that his work easily changes into support for traditional brutal acts. Still, it is important, at least for me, to know where the line is. I know many Iranian girls and women who feel alike. By the way, my experience from living in Iran says that it is amongst the best Muslims countries, in this sense. My idea is that it is not Islam which encourages people to treat their wives brutally. Actually, it is the tradition, backed by the male-friendly Islam. We do have men in Iran who beat their wives, but at least they do not prescribe it publicly and they live in remote rural areas. Moif,
