“Launching missiles with over 1000Km range, a new military drill begins in southern part of Iran”. That was how Sepah chief commander began his statement (see). He also added “drill starts in Hormozgan [the southern Iranian province] and some islands [in the Persian Gulf] from air and ground up to 1400 Km deep”. Probably thinking about the average Iranian’s rule, he continued “also, 788 Basij brigades will be engaged in the maneuver in 14 provinces, their responsibilities include defending areas inside cities, defending strategic points, facing probable protests, and saving victims”. He then called the coming American military drill in the Persian Gulf as a “political and propaganda-based events which has no military value”. Asked if the Iranian maneuver is an answer to their movements, he replied “we had planned this and we have just shifted it forward”.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the war with the “Great Satan”.

Great Job, writing in english for persian readers
hope success for you
This is a war in “our bedroom.” Some american soldiors might die but our infrastructure will be damaged considerably. Remember Israel & Lebanon 34 days war?
Would the people of Iran fight with the Basij or with the Americans if Mother Green and her Killing Machine arrived in Tehran?
You’re being a drama queen! these kinds of events happen all the time, and after its finished all the basij and mullas go to their homes to eat watermelon!
you’d get a good job in Fox News
Sheida,
Chakerim.
Øسین,
Exactly.
Matthew,
It depends very much on the circumstances. One this is sure, they will fight with any soldier who gets to much close to their home.
Bobak,
Don’t you think there is something wrong with us because we seem to tolerate our politicians get engaged in dangerous games, only because “after its finished all the basij and mullas go to their homes to eat watermelon”?
Kamangir,
Rizetim
Sheida,
May I ask you why you wrote that strange post about Balatarin?
Bobak, I had hoped that my post would be more obviously toungue-in-cheek. I sincerely hope that no American Marines are dispatched to Tehran for the sake of both our countries.
Matthew,
I do, too.
