Sinking Ship and The Drunk Captain
Kamangir | November 15, 2006 | Category Iran

Imagine that you are in a ship, which is sinking, and that at the middle of the disaster you have to watch the captain dancing nude on the deck with a silly music. This is basically who many Iranians feel these days. To have a sense of it read these,
1- Iranian and Korean soccer teams played in Tehran. Iran won the game, but the catch was the presence of Korean ladies in the stadium. Iranian ladies do not have the right to sit in the stadium, because men may use harsh words there. So, Haji Washington speculates that Koreans were allowed enterance because they do not know Persian.

2- Ahmadinejad is visiting Kurdistan. These are two of his statements,
Some people think we have lost the martyrs and so we have lost because of giving 200,000 martyrs. The fact is against this. Actually, martyrdom is reaching to the peak and there is nothing beyond that …
No weapon can stand against the idea of martyrdom …
I read the second quote as “human flesh is more powerful than missiles, when you have tons of flesh”. To have an idea whom he is addressing, look at this picture. People of Kurdistan are among those most brutally treated by the Islamic Republic and still live poor lives.

3- Enriched Uranium and Plutonium were found in Iran (see). Still, Iran insists that there has never been any deviation in Iran’s nuclear activities (see).
4- Ahmadinejad states,
My [regular] trips to the provinces has had an effect on other world leaders. Sometimes when we call them we know that they are in provincial trips…The American people have asked me to speak to them…. I am writing a letter to the American people…

It’s a devastating story. I’m not sure if anyone knows where we are going and what happens next. I was wondering if he sends his own son to the front line too? or martyrdom is a good destiny only for other people.
این عکس اول کاپیتان خداست. یعنی تمام Ù…Ùاهیمی Ú©Ù‡ باید توی خودش داره.
Translation: The first picture is fantastic! It carries the whole meaning.

Why these old ladies went to see Ahmadinejad? between all the people I think Kord should hate government more. Do they see anything different from others in Ahmadinejad?
Poor people like Ahmadinejad (for any wrong or right reason), they just like him,so he would be successful in his crazy plans.
Mahi,
I think they have just come to see what is happening.
Ooof. I am dying to know what the average Persian thinks about the genocidal, apocalypse-craving psychotic midget. And about his bearded handlers… singing a merry tune as they lead Iran to the gates of Hell.
The Raccoon,
I think the average Persian only needs a good life, meaning reasonable amount of funds in the bank. Unfortunately, what they get is a poor life full of tensions.
