A Quick Question

Just out of curiosity, what is he carrying under his garment? It is visible in all the pictures taken in Khameneii’s meeting with Pervez Musharraf (see) (see) (see).

My suggestions:

1- a walkman to record musharraf’s voice
2- a bunch of 2000 Toman notes, he just got his salary from the bank (in Iran nobody uses credit or debit cards, instead everyone uses cash and a monthly salary of an average person usually comes as at least 200 to 300 notes)
3- some papers with all the cheating notes, he didn’t prepare for this meeting before so when musharraf doesn’t see him, he can hiddenly look at the notes to remember what he should say
4- a brand new external controller computer to move his artificial hand based on some predefined words. for example, when he says Doshman (enemy - a word that he regularly uses in his speeches)
5- he wore his jacket first and then his Abaya

Anyway, I am sure that it’s not a bullet proof jacket.

[...]By the way, I remembered something funny when I was applying this word, “mulla”. My mom always said this old persian proverb to me: “Mulla shodan che asan, aadam shodan che moshkel”. It means that it is easy to become a mulla and scholar, but it is very difficult to become a real and good human.

Of course after the revolution, usually no one used this proverb in public!

Paleo that photo is funny but the real one from the first source that Kamangir gave us #4 with Musharef and Ahmadinejad is also very funny to me. Why can’t Ahmadinejad wear a tie? It always seems to me image is very important and well planned for him.

Kamangir I think it is tissues, my nan used to do that… tuck her tissues into the front of her apron nice and handy like.

I always have a problem with stiff fabric puffing up like that when i’m sitting. Especially with button down shirts, vests, and jackets. Maybe that’s it.

Think of it this way; they all wear the same head-to-toe suit. And regarding the face, there is barely anything there except for beard and mustache. I guess they all look very much alike. :)
