IR: “Ammunition Was American”

Kamangir | February 16, 2007 | Category Iran

More information about the blast in Zahedan,

1- Baztab: The local state-run TV station, Hamoon, broadcast the confessions of one of the key figures of the attack. He claims to have escaped to Pakistan, after rubbing a bank in Zahedan, where he is contacted by Jondollah and is offered equivalent of $1,200 for each mission.

2- Baztab (quoting Fars): A source in the IR security agencies stated, “the detainees were mercenaries, with no connection inside Iran. They have been trained by intelligence agencies. Their plan, after the first attack, had been to assassinate regional Sunni leaders to produce a provincial, or even national, crisis”. He continued, “One of the detainees said he had been surprised when ordinary people attacked them, because they had been told that the people were with them.”

3- Fars: The ammunition used in the blast were American. A source told Fars that the ammunition confiscated form the detainees are made in America. “Pictures and documents will be subsequently published”, he stated.

their comments is so predictable …now that Americans have proof about Iran is involved in Iraq, the regime is using the same strategy against American…

I would like to believe that the US would not be supporting the types that would set off bombs at a girls school. We’ll have to see.

I hate it when you have to wait 30 years for a book to come out that tells what is really going on. Hopefully with the Internet we can get better information sooner.

Feh, one never really knows who is behind stuff like this. “The other side started it” has been around since at least Alexander the Great. What a mess. Nice blog, I grabbed your anti war poster, nice to see reasoned views on Iran instead of the weird racist drivel that passes for news in much of the MSM here in America. JMO –Doug

There is no doubt that USA did that! And there is no doubt that there is many motive for US to do that!
    DOWN DOWN USA!

I’m not a liberal or a democrat but you might be surprised to know that given the level of duplicity over Iraq and WMD’s a lot of people talk very openly that the assumption is always that the U.S. is lying. We don’t believe the mainstream media we trust our instincts and every time Iran is mentioned in the corporate media whether it’s the left leaning New York Times or the right leaning Wall Street Journal matters not we assume that the U.S. is spoiling for a fight. My first thought when I read about the bombs in Iran was that they were by the U.S. in an attempt to destabilise the country. As indeed the CIA did in 1953.

    Frieda, your reaction is worrying.

Even the American head of forces in Iraq has said that there is no proof whatsoever that the Iranian government is involved with resistance activities in Iraq.

Granted, none of us support theocracy, but that is no reason to swallow all US propaganda. The “enemy of my enemy” … is just another enemy.

The revolutionary guard reports directly to the Iranian Supreme Leader. So how can the Iranian government not be involved? Are we to believe the RG runs operations that the Supreme Leader is unaware? Perhaps one should listen to what the RG says about themselves and terrorism:

“I’m proud that that foreign terrorist, Lebanese Hizbullah, was raised by us. I am proud of this. If inside Iran, Mr. Khatami calls this Violence, and outside Iran it’s called terrorism - then I shall have no fear. If one can cause the infidels and God’s enemies to tremble in fear, then that is a point of pride for us. We are proud of this terrorism.” Statement by: Hasan Abassi, who heads the Center of External Security Doctrinal Analysis of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps gave a lecture at Tehran University, in Iran, in May, 2004.

The Revolutionary Guard PROUDLY supports terrorism. Case Closed.
