Another term used for such a bomb is “Sound Bomb”. Though the “sound bomb” seems to be more common I have seen them both in this context.

Yea…AP is calling it a percussion bomb. and supposedly, one of the those captured confessed that the people who trained them spoke english..
i find it funny, how IR is presenting evidence of weapons used against having american/british markings at the same time as americans are doing teh inverse…interesting to see whose words hold more water…or less water for that matter.
either way, it seems that the US/UK have kicked things up a notch…

I connected to Baztab site and have seen this information. “Ahmadinejad Government Bans BAZTAB Website. Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced that all news activities by BAZTAB Website are banned. BAZTAB attorney said the act was illegal.”
What is going on? I thought Baztab is connected with Mohsen Rezaee who was formerly in Revolutionary Guards, so why do they start filtering it in Iran?

    ps. to above

Is it too conservative, not enough conservative, too radical, or perhaps somebody just did not like one or more of Baztab articles?

I’m not a liberal or a democrat but you might be surprised to know that given the level of duplicity over Iraq and WMD’s a lot of people talk very openly that the assumption is always that the U.S. is lying. We don’t believe the mainstream media we trust our instincts and every time Iran is mentioned in the corporate media whether it’s the left leaning New York Times or the right leaning Wall Street Journal matters not we assume that the U.S. is spoiling for a fight. My first thought when I read about the bombs in Iran was that they were by the U.S. in an attempt to destabilise the country. As indeed the CIA did in 1953.
