Iran managed to produce Askari’s (Asgari) family in front of the reporters. Any thought on that? This is his wife, children, and brother, protesting in front of the Turkish Embassy in Tehran. More picture here.
His wife had more interesting details to present. She said “we were never in Lebanon and he was retired when he was 43, because he began working when he was 18. Also, he is not 63″. Furthermore, according to her, his two wives are still in Iran. I am sure she would never make that up.
p.s. Thanks to Matthew for correcting my mistakes, as always.
Fascinating…

2 wives! well maybe he has more wives and he left the “not so favorite” ones in Iran to suffer.:-) That would be clever!

Freida,
Maybe he did all this only to have his irritating wife suffer. ;)

He probably had to escape from his two wives to marry a much younger and better looking one…LOL

Serendip,
Now we are talking about the politics of sex. :)

Something similar that what Serendip said has happend before in history of IR!! Mosavi Tabrizi did something like that in Paris about 20 years ago. It is funny but I am not kidding.

well if that means he was kidnapped by Mossad or CIA, even better!
I hope they get all the info out of him by most gruesome force methods and torture this [...].

Intriguing, the plot thickens ;-)
Hmm…how many wives does have have? He can have four, if so, than both the IRI and western press statements would be true.
As for his being retired, I really think that this is a “damage control”.
On the other hand why would he try to fly through Syria to Lebanon? The only explanation I have is that France have something to do with it. Mind you, that flight story might also be a disinformation.

Archer
Didn’t he retired and then come out of retirement to deal with corruption?
Do you know if the above is true?

Ella,
I guess so. By the way, would you please send me an email.

so if this guy has so much info why was he so loosely traveling.
in Iran many pasdaran and basij heads have been assassinated on the slightest suspension BUT this guy was just free to travel and go any where he wants without a hundred agents watching him yet alone accompany him???…give me a break ..no matter how ridiculous the west always wants to pretend that they are the only smart people and the regime in Iran is made of rookies yet so far the same regime have turned and twisted the west and their allies over the nuclear issue and proving that they know what they are doing…
if there was indeed an abduction or defection you best be careful of a double agent!!
it seems to me that the west is at it’s last troughs when it comes to defeating the IR!
