Mr. President

I am writing you this letter as a mother who her son was sent to Iraq forcibly and has been taken away from her for ever.

You may know it or not that most of the Americans do not like Bush. He is (â€¦.). We do not recognize him as our president. He entered the white house by cheating. He is not a legitimate president. Even a great number of American mothers who their sons were not sent to Iraq, are agree with me. They know Bush as (â€¦.) [these parts are censored in the original source].

Mr. President! As much as we hate war, we hate Bush and his gangs! I want you know that if you intend to attack U.S., most of the people are like me here. We canâ€™t stop his stupid acts for now, but I am writing this letter, because I know you as a pious and logical man.

I am not scared of Bush and his gangs or his security forces, but since I do not want them to interrupt my battle and my fellow Americansâ€™ struggle against this administration, please keep my name and identification anonymous.

If your son opposed to go to Iraq and impose pressure on the people of that region, and then was forcibly taken there, certainly Almighty God would help him….

Of course, we too hate war â€“ as you do….

This is ridiculous. If he wants letters from liberal leftist protestors, all he needs to do is approach ANSWER or Code Pink and have them put him in contact with actual Americans who would gladly write a smear piece like the one above. The only difference is that it would be more believable because the english used would be written at higher than a 3rd grade level. :-p

This is a translation from Persian to English. For example, all Iranians who are new to English usually say “I am agree” because it is an exact translation from Persian.

So, probably they first wrote an imaginary letter and then one of them who knew more English translated it to English :D

There were “Iraq veterans” against the war that took part in the anti-war rallies in DC last week. They spoke for a couple of the further left groups.

What part of “all” volunteer military does the letter writer not understand. There has been no military draft in the USA in decades. All US military members sign as a volunteer.
