The Game of Wish
Kamangir | March 21, 2007 | Category Iran
The Iranian bloggers have started the new year with a game about our wishes. Once nominated by a fellow blogger, you should write down five wishes and then invite (a few) other bloggers to the game. Thanks to Proshut, I am invited to the game too. So, here are my wishes,
1- I wish the war starts. I wish every single Iranian gets engaged in a full-scale war and looses all their assets. I wish they have to fight with every weapon they have gathered in the thousands of years that the Persian empire, and then Iran, have existed. I wish we, Iranians, can pour into the streets and loudly discuss what we call traditions and norms. I wish once for ever we can find out what the real meaning of morality and religion are and once for ever we can examine the true value, and function, of all these assets. Obviously, that would mean loosing many of the “invaluable” aspects of the Iranian lifestyle. That would also mean disagreement, quarrel, and even a few swears. But still, I think it’s better to look thoroughly into what we have collected during many generations and not to have to pick up rifles and rush to the front, for a war we don’t really know what it is about. I wish we declare war on ourselves.
2- I wish my dear wife forgives me for spending so much time here. Although, I am not sure she would actually read this. :)
3,4,5- I wish I loose ten kilos (kind of silly, isn’t it?).
I invite ET, Dastneveshte-ha, Alee, Jomhour, Behrang (whose blog seems to be down), Dr Ahmadnia, Sarmaii, and of course Shaghaiegh (Azadeh).

Your wife loves you and get used to not having problems with you spending your time here :)
However, she is not sure how your mother in law feels :=))
Wish you all the bests.
Dear Arash
Thank you so much for inviting me to this game, but would you please forgive me for I can not join? “I wish” you had chosen someone else instead of me ;)
Please kindly accept my good wishes for the new year 1386 ! My best regards
My response is up.
Saal-e noh mubarak
Thanks Arash for inviting me, I am trying to select from thousands of wishes that I have.:)
از زندگی,
As you “wish”. :)
Esther,
Good, non-political, wishes! :)
Mahi,
Come on! How many things are you wishing for?
Thanks Arash jan for inviting me and sorry for late response. Like Mahi, I’m thinking to make my mind, Could it be “the great expectation” instead of wishes? ;)
