The Leader Gets Furious
Kamangir | March 21, 2007 | Category Iran
The Supreme Leader began the first day of the new year talking to the crowd of people in Mashhad, one of the most religious cities of Iran. At the middle of his speech, after he took pride on the “achievements” of the Iranians, he mentioned,
All our activities have been legal, but if they tend to use propaganda and abuse the Security Council, and forget the definite right of the Iranian nation, and act illegally, we are also able to be illegal and will be so.
I am not sure what to say. Are they preparing for it?

Thanks for introducing Persian Bloggers list to Balatarin. I wish you the best.
my best wishes for new year to you and your wife. thanks for reminding. I will change it soon:) shad bashi,
If they haven’t been preparing for “It” over the past three years they haven’t been doing their job… believe it or not the Dept. of National Defence in Ottawa actually has plans on how to counter an American invasion. Mostly they involve getting drunk and smoking all the weed we can before the Americans outlaw pot. The Supreme Leader — and his Most Excellent Lackies — is doing his job by getting the people of the Fine State of Iran prepared. He’d be doing a better job if he backed away from nuclear weapons… I’d be interested in finding out what those “achievements” were the Supreme Leader was so proud of…
Alireza,
Thanks. :)
I have just looked at Baztab (in english) and I am getting more and more fascinated by IRI leaders’ speeches.
according to Baztab Khamenei also : said that the “global Zionist network” and the “present US administration are symbols of external enemies of the Iranian nation.”
HMmm, I wonder who are the internal enemies of the Iranian nation? Let me guess………some Iranian teachers, journalists, and bloggers?
Things aren’t going exactly well for Ahmadinejad at the moment. His speeches aren’t drawing crowds, the Russians are pissed about some payments for technology and are making grunts about pulling out of Iran, the UN is a worthless organization but even it is making noises about some stupid sanctions.
Not a good month for The Man. The best way to unite a population is to point at external threats and wave the bloody shirt. All that does is highlight Iran’s isolated position in that part of the world.
I bet the Saudis are laughing their asses off. They get to look like the good guys while still pumping billions into Wahabist Madrasah.
