According to IRNA, the naval maneuver “Sovereignty” began in the Persian Gulf. The engaged forces will drill jumping from helicopters and also subsurface operations. The ten-day event is said to be “an exhibition of weaponry built in Iran”. In another news, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps stated “if America starts a war against Iran, they would not be the one who finishes it up”.

    Nice for the morale of Persian citizens, but all it means for the US is they are watching every move above and below the surface electronically, visually, and by satellite…the better to know how your military does things.

    Just like your military watches US forces like hawks when it can, the US watches the Iranian military when it comes out to play.
