Kamangir on Crutches (Update: No Fracture was Found)

I think all the moderation that I did in Balatarin finally paid off. Last weekend we were playing the fantastic Iranian game at-the-middle (Vasati), which is similar to Dodgeball, when I twisted my ankle and fell down. Since then, I have had a pain in my left ankle. Today, they gave me crutches and took an X-ray. Knowing that after a long and freezing winter we are having a very sunny spring and that I have just bought a fascinating, and expensive, pair of running shoes and that Azadeh just got me a great bike, I think you don’t need any explanation on how awful I feel right now. The moral lesson is, do not make people angry; a bit more of copy-and-paste blogging does not hurt anyone. An injured ankle does.

p.s. We, Iranians, do believe in evil eye. :)

Update: I just received a call from the clinic. It seems that, to my deepest regret, there is no fracture down there. Thanks for your support anyway.

    1. I am so sorry that this happened.
    2. Freida should have been a party to this tragedy; tell her not to pull your injured leg!
    3. Not only the Iranians loads of others do believe in evil eye (is it really evil eye?).
    4. Look at the bright side: you can start learning hockey instead; or a better option would be chogaan; which saves your legs and makes use of your not so much handsome crutches.
    5. Get well soon.
    6. Multidimensional Eraadat :)

Now things are getting serious? I didn’t ever think Kamangir should have anything to do with the guy missing. What about his sprained ankle? Is all this Vasatu just a red-herring? ;)

To Harfehessab:Sorry if my question was missunderstanding.I dont say that Kamangir haves something to do with the
guy missing. The question is that some reports in this case are not very clear. For example,Statfor Institute issued a report about this man,now in private security bussiness in a conflict zone. But this case remains a enigma.

http://www.stratfor.com said that Robert Levinson-retired FBI agent who went missing march 8,allegedly after attending a meeting on Iran´s resort island of Kish. And later,Teheran no respond on the whereabouts of Levinson.

Hahaha us old people don’t heal as quickly as we used to. I fractured a couple tarsals a few years back playing ultimate frisbee….no fun!! Be happy you have no breaks!

    Get well soon, dude! :-)

  18. Motori |

    Arash,
I would like to concur with Tom, bone fractures never heal 100% and when you get older it will be payback time, you won’t need a thermometer to know the variation in ambient Temp, your fractured bone will tell exactly how cold or hot it is painfully of course. Don’t ask me how do I know that.
Glad you’re OK, it could be worse.
