Respect for the Dead Ayatollah: No Flight to/from Tehran for Four Hours
Kamangir | May 30, 2007 | Category Iran
For the anniversary of Ayatollah’s Khomeini’s decease, June 3rd, Tehran’s two international airports will not carry any flights from 8 in the morning till noon. Reza Jafar Zadeh, the Public Relations’ head of the National Airways stated “This decision has been transferred to all national and international companies and they are responsible for avoiding any problem for the passengers”. A user in Balatarin, the Iranian Digg, wrote this comment for this news,
[Answering to other comments which criticized this decision because of its economical consequences:] Imam [Khomeini] is greater than all this. Everything about him was big. Just look at Imam Tower [in Tehran]. It’s just big. Are you not ashamed of yourself for criticizing whatever the great government does? Shut up you people! The cost of closing the airport for 4 hours is nothing. Imam himself once said “economy is for animals” [He actually did say this once]. We will pay for this. We have to do bigger things if we want to respect him…Do you think we are like other stupid countries which do a one-minute silence thing? I suggest all utilities shut off for the whole month, and also cell phone service. We have to be f… up for his respect. Gas stations must close. Universities must close. I wish we could close the monasteries, but I am afraid they are vital for the country.

I think only future generations of Iranians will assess the darkness of these times in Iran. How can Iran of 2007 be ruled by such laws and regulations. The fact that we, Iranians actually call this Khomeini an Imam,, and put in so much money to build builing in his name while no respect or resources is invested in creating a befitting Mausoleum for Cyrus the Great is testimony to the darkness. I remember when during the revolution people actually said they saw Khomeini’s face on the moon! I was there and guys let me tell you there was no Khomeini on the moon. This wise man, this Imam, this leader of the “Islamic” revolution, this man who we name every street and every building after has said, ” if you have sex with a donkey, that donkey should be taken outside the city and sold off!”
Volek Kofriom!!!!
How stupid.
The Islamic colonizers occupying Iran have done irreprable damage to the Iranian culture, economy, and resources. I’m always astounded by the breathtaking moral bankruptcy of Khomeinisits
This whole mullahcracy smacks of monarchy. Pepole in Iran need to realize that the government is our servant not the other way around.
