Mother beyond Grave: Vote for Ahmadinejad!

Kamangir | July 1, 2007 | Category Iran

Ever wondered who voted for Ahmadinejad? Listen how Ayatollah Jannati, the chairman of the Guardian Council, describes it in the Friday Prayers in Tehran.

A few days ago, a friend of us told me, “I was going to a voting center [for the last presidential elections], so I took a taxi. The driver asked me for whom I was going to vote. I asked him who he was voting for. He said ‘God knows I don’t know [about politics], but my mom who died a few years ago came to my dream last night and told me to vote for Ahmadinejad and I am going to do that’. There has been numerous examples like this… God helped and the hearts of the Hizballah youth helped and out of the blue without any party supporting him or any administration figure or wealthy person backing him [he was elected]. This is democracy if you are looking for it”.

Well, sir, I call this annihilating all political rivals and then enjoying a “fantastic” society in which graveyards act as parties.
