According to ISNA, Tehran Security Judge stated, “The number of gang members who are to be executed will be announced on Monday”. He added, “Those arrested in the gas station attacks are kept in Evin Prison, in solitary confinement”. The gang members referred to here are those arrested in the recent series of raids of the Police in Tehran and a few other cities. Most of these people are young low-level urban gang members who are accused of drug and alcohol-related crimes as well as selling satellite dishes and also violence.

    Hi Mr.Kamangir

you claim you are writing about Iran while you are out of it???I think it would be better for you to write about the city you are living it…this is fair….

Kamangir: Is it so hard to imagine that I follow the news from Iran more carefully and that I know more about Iran compared to the lovely city of Winnipeg?

Whether or not Mr. Kamangir is in Iran or not is an irrelevant matter. I am grateful for the opportunity to view his blog and his insights on the region.

I also look at information from many others as well so I can come to an informed understanding on the events. My main conclusion is that although I may have my disagreements with the current and recent U.S. administrations I am very glad I am not an Iranian citizen. I have seen far to many things to want to be in that situation.

As an American, I may choose to continue to write about America if I were to move elsewhere for some reason. Additionally, I would venture to guess a majority of the writing about Iran is from outside Iran. I could be wrong on that but other than state run media I do not see a great deal coming out of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

    Kamangir: Thanks for the support.

How true, Sun is is blind!
An other useful opportunity could be to improve his self-management and establishing priorities regarding his studies.

Kamangir: I do thank you for your concerns about my studies.

    @ Sun Is Blind

Being indifferent to Iran’s politics and future has never been an option for Iranians in exile.

BTW: I checked your blog, very interesting analysis of new Iranian Coalition Government.

Kaman: You can’t really expect much from the likes of “sun is blind”. He is a product of a totalitarian/ethnocentric society. Following and extending his logic, there should be no international news anywhere and no Iranian inside Iran should ever write about the U.S. or the West…how ridiculous is that?

You’re doing a great job, Kaman. If you read his blog, you will also notice that he is poorly informed of many realties outside of his small little world.

Good reporting. I cannot understand why the US media is not reporting any of this Iranic mullah oppression. It would seem to me that the whole world should be awoken to the ugliness of an islamic government.
How stupid islam is….. showing musical instruments on TV is a sin?……..sheeesh.
I hate mullahs. Hope I never have one as a neighbor.
