footballiran_200771174733703.jpgAccording to Roozna, Mansour Osanlou, the famous bus drivers’ union leader, was kidnapped. His wife and colleagues have stated that he was beaten up and kidnapped by a handful of people, yesterday 7pm, while he was going towards his home. His wife also stated that while she and his brother were questioning the Police about his fate, they were attacked by batons. Osanlou’s lawyer has called his arrest wrong and unlawful, mentioning “Security agents do not generally arrest people this way”. The worry is that he might be arrested by forces from what is called in Iran “the parallel intelligence agencies”. In other words, he might be in hands of semi-lawful intelligence forces which mainly pursue extremist ideologies and are not responsive to any democratic body.
