   Altajdid - “Alta” = “Old” in Yidish, “Jdid” = “New” in Arabic. So I would say, these rumors are invented by the Zionists, in order to discredit the state run news agency ! (ha ha , this is fun)

   The BS the Iranian media tries to sell to the people. I like to let Mehr newspaper know that if the punishment for converting to Islam is 20 years in jail, the converting AWAY from Islam is Death :-(

   I would also be interested to know just where the US will get these Zionist guards from. A nefarious operation of such magnitude would require a large percentage of the population of Israel.

   Because, you see, there’s just seven million of us here, Arabs and Bedoins and Druze included.

   Just like war time Germany the government writes the newpaper articles and the gullable of the population fall for it hook line and sinker. When you see the anti west demonstrations in Iran you have to wonder if that many people really believe in the demonstrations or if that many people are on the government payroll.

   I also got confused, to say the least.
   However I got curious as to what is that “altajdid” newspaper they got the news from. Because Google is my close friend I started a search and got two major hits. One of these is “altajdid” which seems to be a website based in Iraq and the other is newspaper from Morocco “Attajdid” (same speling). I have sneaking suspicion that they got info from the later, as it is the same newpaper which two years ago published an article assuring readers that Tsunami which hit Asia is a form of “divine punishment”. This kind of stuff would be right in their alley, don’t you think so?

   Kamangir: Ella, I did a search too and I found a few sources. Unfortunately, there were in Arabic so I was unable to spot the source. However, the fact that Mehr does not give any details, least of all the name of that institute, makes me believe someone there had heard something and just used his own imagination. That’s what I think. :)

   But, tedders, those legions are busy conquering Mars. I mean, sure, when they’re done building bases there to invade Earth *then* they’ll be free to watch the actions of every Muslim in the USA, but who will do the job until then?
