The banner reads “A Sunny Day”. It definitely was not a sunny day for the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and for Ahmadinejad.

Yesterday, a right-wing journalists’ group threw a party for the Journalists’ Day. The party was attended by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and, later, Ahmadinejad decided to give a speech in there. Unfortunately, no one showed up and thus Ahmadinejad canceled his speech [Persian]. It is no wonder there is no picture of the attending “crowd” in the state-run news sources (Mehr, Mehr, Fars).

A photographer who attended the “ceremony” describes the hall as “Full of Empty” [Persian].
