Did you read the piece in the National Post a few days ago talking about Arch-mini-jad’s political future? Or lack thereof I guess… they were talking about a real backlash against his local political policies, as well as his international weirdness becoming a serious factor in upcoming elections. The people of Iran, it seems, are tired of gas rations and being the target of the “Free World”. Which, I assume, includes Canada.

I have read somewhere that ayatollah Jannati will be the one of four people approving/watching over candidates for 2008 presidential election. If it is true, I expect that many, many reformist candidates will be disqualified.
BTW
