You probably used to see Beyonce Knowles in revealing clothes like the one shown below. Thanks to the Islamic Republic Television, you can now know the Beyonce who is pro-modesty.
The Iranian blogger Gelayeh has posted screen-shots taken from the Pink Panther movie the Islamic Republic has managed to “put together” [Persian].
In last picture, they have used the “zoom” technique, in which the actress’s face is zoomed into, to avoid showing the other “sinful” parts of the scene. Watch the piece here,

I am Ravi friend, they do same as well in the Albania, mixed Muslim-Christian country. Modesty is quite universal my friend.

They do the same thing in India because certain groups of people have a tendancy to burn down theatres when a movie tells a story contrary to their religious viewpoint. This isn’t about modesty, it’s about censorship. It’s the same thing as China banning any Internet sites which go against the Party line. Iran, like parts of India, China and elsewhere, have no faith in their people’s ability to control themselves. These country’s treat their people as though they were retarded children with no control over their emotions and desires… “oh no, cleavage on the screen, get the women to safety!” Does anyone see the total idiocy and irony in that? For crying out loud, WOMEN HAVE TITS!!!! Get used to it, they’re not going away.

when in “rome, do as romans do”.
i think it is respectfull to be modest in countries who require women to dress modestly.
i also think it is respectfull, not to attack australian women, having a traditional/cultural day at the beach with thier daughters dressed in “speedos” and “western swimsuits”. when in rome , do as romans do, should be respected by muslims as well,
in cronulla, a suburb of australia, women and little girls were attack , spat on, had sand kicked in thier faces, were surrounded by gangs/families of muslims youths “while sun baking and playing in the sand” for almost two years before the locals eventually had a street march to protest, muslim intolerance.
then the world (ignorant) called it a racial riot ? it was no more than a protest about escalating crime by gangs of disrespectful muslims attacking women and little girls as young as seven or eight. not to mention robbing them, stealing car keys while they were swimming and robbing parents cars, and stealing mobile phone and wallets as well as purses from beach camps , ipods and anything else these imams and clerics could steal, while attacking women and children over “modesty” issues, in ther own country, living as thier traditions and culture demands !
this hatered of the west and intolerance of our women in traditional dress, has stretched the friendship, in australia. we try not to offend islam, but too often prefer they were in a place which made them more comfortable, and were not offended, like iran. sometimes we think they all should all be lving in iran, they have no respect for anything but islamic ways, which they fled to christian and jewish countries to get away from, the failures of islamic countries and economies.

At least iran is, now , standing up and saying “here we are”, on the world forum, not afraid to be criticised ( a culture of the west ) all other muslims countries are too ashamed.
iran is exchanging ideas and now learning how we think, not how we should think, or should have been programmed by islam and government.
i am glad to find a site like this about iran, i am interested.
