Shiraz General Prosecutor announced that four men were hanged today. The public execution was carried out on the charges of drug trafficking. “Surveys show that sever punishment has had important effect on providing social safety and wellness”, he claimed [Persian]. Persian BBC quotes the national television that seventeen more were executed in public in Khorasan Province [Persian].
