Silent Arrests in Tehran

The Student Committee of Human Rights Reporters reports that the Islamic Republic is arresting activists in silence. Reportedly, Abbas Khorsandi (عباس خرسندی), Mansour Faraji (منصور فرجی) and four others were arrested on Sunday. Furthermore, a human rights activist, with the name of Sepideh Pour Aghaii (سپیده پورآقایی), was arrested after Police raid into her house, without having Judicial permission to do so. The Police searched her house and confiscated her personal belongings, including a computer, books and hand-notes. At the same day, Ghasem Shirziadian (قاسم شیرزادیان), blogger, was also arrested. Furthermore, Meisam Roudaki (میثم رودکی) and Bahram Rasekhi Far (بهرام راسخی فر) were arrested on Sunday and Monday.

While some reports increase the number of the arrested individuals up to 12, there is no information about the other detainees and the families are not aware of their whereabouts [Persian].
