Ahmadinejad in Ground Zero? Are you kidding?
Kamangir | September 19, 2007 | Category Iran, Islamic Republic, US
Is there any doubt that Ahmadinejad must not be permitted to get close to where the twin towers used to stand? Even forgetting the fact that he is the representative of a regime whose official outlets call the attacks an inside job, he explicitly mentioned in his letter to the George W. Bush that,
September 11 events were horrible. Killing innocent people is shameful everywhere in the world. Our government condemned the attacks at the time….It is said that you have an extensive intelligence system which is even capable of hunting your opponents outside your borders. 9/11 was not a simple operation. Is it possible that such an operation is designed without the intelligence systems helping with it or being massively infiltrated? This is in fact a reasonable possibility. Why is this being kept secret? Why is it not mentioned who failed in doing his job? Why are the people responsible for the attacks not tried? [Persian]
Someone has to call this man and remind him of the numerous unsolved problems in Iran. He’d better work on domestic issues first, before meddling with other nations’.

Kamangir: Sorry, I don’t understand what you have written. Is this Dari?
Once again Kamangir, your worldly-wise understanding of global politics shines through. Why should a head of state spend so much as a minute considering 9/11 when he has domestic problems at home? It’s completely irrelevant, of course. Insulting as well.
The problem is that once you perceive ridiculous opinions such as this to be massive problems in the world of global politics, it takes away from your credibility when you make very insightful and justified condemnations about very serious affairs (which you do quite a lot).
Ahmadinejad shouldn’t be allowed to land in the United States, nevermind travelling throughout our cities and speaking at our universities.
It’s a real shame that the UN is headquarted in NYC. I motion that the UN pack up and move to Damascus or Tehran or Tripoli. Three very open and tolerant places run by absolutely secular and human rights oriented governments.
This man needs to put wreath on the mass graves of prisoners he executed and then dumped in tombless graves in Khavaron.
We never forget Khavaron and many other crimes of Islamic Republic on its own citizens.
Here is a partial list of the thousands upon thousands of prisoner his regime massacred. He needs to buy them headstones and a proper grave too.

Al kindi: You need to take more Persian lessons. Your Persian is incoherent.
