IRGC Commander: 11,000 Shots in One Minute

Kamangir | October 20, 2007 | Category Iran, Islamic Republic, War

a0342855.jpgThe commander of the artillery unit in the IRGC stated [Persian] “On the first minute of any attack, 11,000 rockets and bullets will be fired at the designated hostile targets”. He added, “The first bullet will hit the 50-meter vicinity of the target. The fire control system utilized in Iran is unique in the world”. Stating that “online” watchtowers have any movement of the “enemies” under surveillance, Chahar Baqi added “The intelligent bullets that the IRGC has can target moving objects. Only a few countries have access to this technology.” “Although IRGC has these technologically advanced warfares, the central means of superiority in any battle is the faith of the martyr-seeking youth of Iran”, he concluded.

Quoting: “the central means of superiority in any battle is the faith of the martyr-seeking youth of Iran”

Translation: Our greatest weapon is manufactured by child abuse. We take children and turn them into homicidal-suicidal weapons. We do this with great pride, and in name of God.

The worst part is that people defend this type of talk. If American leaders started telling the people that their biggest weapon was suicide bombings and that they will wipe Iran off the map, they’d be sacked immediately and the same lunatic leftists that defend Iran’s posturing would be blasting these leaders for the horrible things they say.

The world is truly upside down sometimes.

Funny. Single shilka can produce 4000 rounds a minute. That is assuming it can stay alive this long. This guy has such a flair for dramatic. Nizami would green with envy.

Russian newspaper, I’ve just read, said more or less the same as the nypost.
The only interesting part was about Russian journalists who were complaining that they can’t work because their cell phones do not work. At first they could not even send dispatches to Russia because nobody could find the censor from Ministry of Culture and so they could not use communication equipment. As for cell phones russian journalists, in desperation, suspected that this could be the fault of some iranian intelligence agency but nobody knew anything, all the people they asked only shrugged and said that they can not help ;-)
