It seems that you try to show us “good” Iran, as if we did not know that iranians live their life like anybody else. Iranians are people like all others, there are good ones, there are bad ones and there are the ones who are somewhere in between. But the differences between iranians who try to live normal life and the ones who would like to develop a bomb and who teach children to shout “death to amrika” is that the second ones are in power.
The bottom line is: can Iranians do something about these people in government and military before they develop a bomb and will start to do what they said they want to do. Before it will be too late.
    Or
Will it be like in Lebanon, where the West and March 14th politicians were trying to talk and talk and talk and tried to make consensus with Hezb and pro-Syrian politicians. And now it seems that the time for talk may be past.

    BTW
It was a good video, showing life in Iran. But it is being used to tell us “we are good, don’t bomb us”. The sentimental reasons are well and fine. Being scared of possible bombs or invasion is understandable, if I were Iranian I would be scared myself. But unfortunately sentimental reasons don’t make a headway with IRI government, or al Quds brigades, do they?

Kamangir: Ella, I agree with you. I just enjoyed watching this video, and, well, I knew the background. When Nasrin wrote about it and posted the video with subtitles I felt like sharing it. Nevertheless, to my opinion, Iranians are responsible for what the Islamic Republic does.

    Very astutely observed Ella.
This is the sort of subtle pro Mullahcracy propaganda that Muslim Iranians engage in. I don’t trust them as far as I can throw them.
I hope this also clarifies for you why I am so unswervingly intolerant of Muslim Iranians.

    FYI,
All faiths practised in Iran either originated there or came to Iran with amity; all except Islam that is. Islam is the only “religion” that was imposed by foreigners upon Iranian people. Accordingly, as far as I’m concerned “Muslim Iranian” is a contradiction in terms.

    Very nostalgic.

Government is crap and ordinary people are just trying to survive until next morning.

Is there Iranian Gorbachev on the horizon?

PS. I noticed few American products in the clip. Where does it come from?

I have noticed Dolce & Gabbana, an Italian fashion creators and they have really expensive stuff. I am quite sure that can not afford to buy it, I wish I could. ;-)

If only bad news from Iran is to be trusted Iranians must be the most liberal nation on earth.
