I am a 57 year old American, who was active in the civil rights movement during the 1960’s (when I was very young). And I am white.

Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech always brings tears to my eyes. I remember hearing it when I was extremely young. It burned into my memory then, and it haunts me now. Much of what he spoke of in that speech has come true in the US, and much needs to be done.

It’s placement into A’s mouth (incredibly well done in terms of lip movement and gesture) is inspired.

I wept when I saw this video, thinking of the profound level of hope that its creators must have. And of the crushing oppression they face. And of the bravery of making this video.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It reminds me that way down deep, in the core of the human spirit, beyond religion, beyond nationality, and beyond ideology- we all wish we could simply be together as equals.
